GST reduced from 12% to 5%
Lower MRPs from September 22,2025 As you must be aware from the various newspaper and media reports, the Government of India has announced reduction in GST rate from 12% to 5% on utensils with effect from September 22, 2025. Even though formal notification from the concerned authorities is awaited, our assessment is that the rate of GST on Pressure Cookers and Cookware will be 5% from September 22, 2025.
In view of the said expected reduction and to ensure that the benefit, if any, is passed on to our consumers, we shall be manufacturing our Pressure Cookers and Cookware in our factories with reduced MRP effective September 22, 2025. The GST reduced new Pricelist is available here .
